A car popularised by pop culture and immortalised as a symbol of opulence. The Mercedes-Benz Gelandewagen has stayed true to its off-road capabilities despite generally being touted as a bold representation of one’s wealth. The quieter G400d is, in my opinion, the most practical choice in the range, but it still can turn heads, which it did during my photo shoot of the car in beautiful Cape Town.
